The most widespread definition of mindfulness is the one given by Jon Kabat-Zinn.

He says that mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose,in the present moment, non-judgmentally, in the service of self-understanding and wisdom.

Mindfulness is just a special form of awareness.

We are currently using resources from the Centre For Mindful Life Enhancement.

Our sessions start promptly, usually with a meditation or mindful breathing activity, which we then discuss, followed by other activities from the Centre.

We finish with ‘tea & biscuits between 3:45pm and 4pm on the 4th Monday of the month.
